To briefly summarize, the event is a combination of 1) getting to meet other fantastical entrepreneuers, 2) to eat a plethora of cookies, and 3) support an amazing charity.
- This event is invite-only. It is not publicly promoted – it is exclusive to people kicking ass and taking names
- This event is ridiculous. At the Toronto version of the Chocolate Chip Cookie Off, we had 34 competitors show up. And we’re not talking about random amateurs – 29 were professional bakers and pastry chefs. Over 2500 cookies!
- 100% of the ticket price goes to charity.For this event, the charity chosen is She’s the first, which focuses on educating girls in developing countries.With only 100 tickets available for sale, our goal is to raise a nice and cool $25,000 for Shes the first.Furthermore, any extra cookies will be donated to a shelter.
Our last event was the Sausage Showdowin n Toronto. Of the 100 tickets we sold, 21 people flew in. Everyone had a great time, and I believe it’s time we bring this intersection of entrepreneurship, networking, food, and charity to the US.
